The annual Kansas Solid Waste Management Conference is held each fall and is sponsored jointly by the Kansas Sunflower Chapter of the Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA) and the Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) Bureau of Waste Management.

This conference attracts a large number of solid waste professionals and operators, representing public and private sector organizations from throughout Kansas and neighboring states. It includes a mix of informational presentations on important industry topics and fun events for socializing. It also provides an excellent opportunity for vendors to exhibit their services / products and interact with potential clients.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Conference Exhibitor Registration

Platinum Level is $1,500 – includes outdoor parking (limited) for large truck display, an indoor booth display space with electricity, two conference attendee registrations, signage, and recognition at all events.

Gold Level is $1,000 –  includes a table, booth display area with electricity, one conference attendee registrations, signage, and recognition at all events.

Reception Sponsor $750 - includes signs posted during either the Welcome Reception 9/28 or the Vendor Reception 9/29.

Break Sponsorship is $500 - includes signs posted during breaks.

Additional conference attendee registration fee for registered Platinum and Gold level exhibitors is $250 each (early bird price until August 21, 2026 is $225) 

Conference Attendee Registration

Registration includes access to all presentations, training sessions, exhibit hall, conference meals, and two evening receptions (September 23rd Opening Reception and September 24th Exhibitor Sponsored Reception).

Rate for SWANA members = $320 (early bird price until August 21, 2026 is $260) 

Rate for Non-SWANA members = $350 (early bird price until August 21, 2026 is $280)

GOLF TOURNAMENT Registration  

Players must register by September 17, 2026 to reserve your spot. Golf will include teams of four for the scramble competition. 

Golfer = $125 per person, $400 for team of four if registered by August 21, $500 after August 21.
