2023 Exhibitor Registration and Golf Tournament Brochure

The annual Kansas Solid Waste Management Conference is held each fall and is sponsored jointly by the Kansas Sunflower Chapter of the Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA) and the Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) Bureau of Waste Management.

This year's conference theme is "Back to the Basics," and will focus on the training and regulatory information that operators need to run and maintain their facilities. Speakers from KDHE, facility operators, consultants, and vendors will give presentations during the General Sessions and in the Collection and Transfer Stations, Sustainable Materials Management, MSW Landfills, and Small Arid Landfills Concurrent Education Sessions.

This conference attracts a large number of solid waste professionals and operators, representing public and private sector organizations from throughout Kansas and neighboring states. It includes a mix of informational presentations on important industry topics and fun events for socializing. It also provides an excellent opportunity for vendors to exhibit their services / products and interact with potential clients.

A block of 80 hotel rooms has been reserved for a rate of $101 per night. A limited number of suites are available in the block for $105 per night. To book call the contact number and reference the group name SWANA2023. 

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Conference Exhibitor Registration

Platinum Level is $1,500 – includes an indoor equipment display space with electricity, four conference attendee registrations, signage, and recognition at all events. SELECT SPACE.

Gold Level is $750 – includes a 10-foot booth display area with electricity, two conference attendee registrations, signage, and recognition at all events. SELECT SPACE.

Break Sponsorship is $500 – includes one break sponsorship, signage, and recognition at all events.

Additional conference attendee registration fee for registered exhibitors at the platinum and gold levels is $215 each.  

Conference Attendee Registration

Registration includes access to all presentations, training sessions, exhibit hall, conference meals, and two evening receptions (October 3rd Opening Reception and October 4th Exhibitor Sponsored Reception).

Rate for SWANA members = $215 Early Bird Rate, $235 after September 15, 2023

Rate for Non-SWANA members = $235 Early Bird Rate, $255 after September 15, 2023

GOLF TOURNAMENT Registration  

Please register by September 15, 2023 to reserve your spot. Golf will include teams of four for the scramble competition and lunch. Shotgun start at 10 AM.

Golfer = $100 per person, $400 for team of four. 

Golf Hole Sponsorship = $100 (includes signage with your company logo at the golf course. It does not include a tournament registration; please pay "golf tournament registration" to play on a team.)
