The 2019 Kansas Solid Waste Management Conference will be held on October 1-3 in Mulvane, Kansas, at the Kansas Star Conference Center. This conference is sponsored by the SWANA Kansas Sunflower Chapter and the Kansas Department of Health and Environment. It annually attracts over 220 attendees.

The conference will offer four tracks of training:

• Subtitle D Landfills,
• Small Arid Landfills,
• Solid Waste Collection/Transfer Stations, and
• Sustainable Materials Management.   

Presentations are allotted 45 minutes for content, questions and answers. There will be two presentations in each 1 ½ hour session. Computers, screens, and projectors will be provided and there will be a moderator for each session.
